Vision. Plan. Change.

Lexington, KY may see plenty of blue--in the university located in the center of the city or in the grass in the rolling hills of the countryside--but it is green that Lexington desperately needs to see. In May 2008, the Brookings Institution think tank published a study of one hundred US cities, ordered in terms of increasing per capita carbon dioxide emissions. With its abundant coal-burning power and relatively poor traffic quality, Lexington was at the bottom the list at around 3.46 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions per person during the study year, 2005.

We envision a different future for the beautiful city of Lexington. Join us on April 26, 2015, as we work together to generate ideas to help move our city forward to a greener, more sustainable future.
